Will any family accept an au pair from Algeria?
The question is - why not?
We are currently in the process of signing a contract with an an au pair from Kenya - of course it's much more complicated than taking an au pair from the EU (the visa process takes several months!) and also kind of risky, as we e.g. have to sign a "Verpflichtungserklärung" (formal obligation), but we are sure she's going to be a great au pair and it's worth the effort.
I just checked your profile and with very good language skills in Spanish, English and French it should be rather easy for you to find a family. Unfortunately you don't tell anything about yourself yet (in "more about me") and you also don't say when you are available as an au pair, but if you complete your profile I'm sure you can find a family soon.
Hi,Thanks for putting the effort to answer my question .I truly appreciate it.
Yes you're absolutely right , it's much more completed than being an au pair from the EU , it seems very difficult to find a Host family willing to accept an au pair from non EU countries ( for different reasons which I totally understand ) , and that's exactly why I am asking here hoping to find a family willing to do the same as you said you did with your Kenyan au pair.
At first a thought it would be easier to find a host family since I am a multilingual person but no it wasn't...
Yes you're right I didn't tell anything about myself , I just wrote a (dear family latter ) which is a detailed letter about me and I always send it to matching families.
Thank you for your excellent suggestions I will do it ;) .
thank you ,that's very kind of you.
